Consider This : The Saturday edition of The Joyful CoParent
One idea. One question or an insight worth carrying into the weekend.
Society presents courage as something big. Heroic. Newsworthy.
The dramatic stand.
The bold leap.
The moment everyone sees and remembers.
But for most of us, courage looks like none of that.
It's quiet, internal and private and usually no one knows you're going through it.
Small daily acts of courage have changed my life. Quite literally.
They've helped me:
Face fear, insecurity, pain, and grief.
Transform my career, my mindset, my behavior.
Quit the things that were destroying me.
Start the things that are building me into a new Justin.
Build a co-parenting relationship I'm proud of.
But to start, I had to hit the bottom.
Feel all of it. Get so fed up with myself and my situation that being brave was the only option left.
"Courage doesn't happen when you have all the answers. It happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding your whole life."
Life is ours to live.
It's precious, and fragile, and also profound, powerful, and inspiring.
We get to choose how we see it.
We get to choose how we embrace it.
Don't let it go unnoticed: Where are you being brave, even a little?
I dedicate this one to my friend Kathryn, who is going through it right now.
You are so brave. And we love you.
— Justin
Thank you for reading.
I didn't become a joyful co-parent overnight — and if you're in the middle of this, you probably won't either.
I share my journey to connect with others working through the same confusing transformation.

If this resonated, reply directly — I'd genuinely love to hear your story.
If it landed for you, consider passing it to someone who might need it.
It might be exactly what they need to hear.
Thank you,
